Meet our latest offering: TapIt4Me for iPhone. It lets you create a list of short abbreviations that when typed will instantly expand to whole words, sentences or paragraphs of your choosing.
For example, you could decide that tapping in the letters 'srla' on your iPhone's keypad would produce - in the blink of an eye - "Sorry, I'm running late again but I'm on my way". How you use it is entirely up to you. The possibilities are endless.*
Think of it as the mobile little brother of TypeIt4Me - the original text expander on the Mac since 1989. If you've used that before, you'll feel right at home with TapIt4Me on iPhone and iPod Touch. It's small, nimble and punches above its weight.
TapIt4Me for iPhone will allow you to import and use your:- TypeIt4Me abbreviations**
- TextExpander snippets**
- Microsoft Word Auto-Correct abbreviations***
Macworld have very nice things to say about it. We certainly can't imagine how we got along without it before. Why not do yourself a favour...take TapIt4Me for a spin and see how many hours of frustrated one-finger typing it saves you.
*Important notice*
The iPhone OS 3.0 compatible version of TapIt4Me will be made available in the iTunes App Store in the next few days. Should you download OS 3.0 before then and use TapIt4Me it might not work as expected. If you find this is the case, please bear with us and keep checking the store for the new version, TapIt4Me 1.1.1.
If you're not planning to upgrade to iPhone 0S 3.0 right away, then you'll be fine. TapIt4Me's performance will be unaffected.

* Please note that abbreviations only expand within the TapIt4Me application.
Text can then be saved as a note, sent as an email or posted on Twitter.
